Tigers Win North In Six

With Tristan Gray logging another shut-out, his fifth of the playoffs, it took but a single  goal by Dawson Stairs to win game six versus the Caps sending the Tigers into the finals for the Canadian Tire Cup. Stairs’ tally came on the powerplay just 1:18 into the second period giving Campbellton the lead they would never surrender. Pascal Valcourt assisted on the play. Brendan Bornstein, with less than a minute left in the third, salted the game away with an unassisted empty net goal. Caps’ goalie, Dominik Tmej played another strong game and was named third game star. Stairs was second and Gray, with his perfect thirty- seven save performance was named first game star.
