Despite having only eighteen hours between games, the Tigers headed out onto the ice at the Grant Harvey Center in Fredericton with a full head of steam. They took the lead early on goals by Riley Bezeau and William Basque (Second Game Star) to take a two goal lead into the first intermission. In the second, a pair of tallies by Pascal Valcourt (First Game Star) and another by Connor Richard built the lead to five before the Red Wings responded. In the last minute of the period, Basque, with his second, restored the lead to a handful. In the final period, Valcourt completed his hat trick with another short-handed goal. Completing the scoring was Josh Crooks who netted a powerplay goal with fifteen seconds left on the clock. Picking up assists were Bezeau, Liam Best, Frédéric Castonguay, Thomas Dodds, Coleton Perry, Joel Walker and Valcourt with two each plus Maxime Charest (Third Game Star) with three. Tristan Gray stopped twenty-eight shots for the win.
