Edmundston romped to a 5-0 lead early in the second period over the hometown Tigers only to see the Campbellton squad hustle, check. battle, shoot and score their way back to a tie before the end of the third period. Adam Bowness got the ball rolling for the Tigers just before the midway point of the second frame. Josh Crooks, Maxime Charest and Connor Richard (First Game Star) upped the total to four before the second intermission. Then, shortly into the third, Sam McKinney did what faithful Tiger fans had hoped for…he tied it up. Overtime failed to produce a winner but in the shoot-out, Tigers goalie, Tristan Gray (Second Game Star) stopped two of three while William Basque and Riley Bezeau were successful in their attempts. Picking up assists for Campbellton were Joel Walker, Basque, Crooks, Bezeau, McKinney with two and Richard with three. After coming in at the start of the second, Gray stopped twenty-one shots.
