Tigers Take Series vs Blizzard

The Tigers wrapped up their first round series versus the Blizzard with a 5-0 win Saturday evening in Campbellton. The win was Campbellton’s fourth in a row and second by a shut-out after dropping the first game in overtime. Scoring tonight were Coleton Perry, Pierre-Luc Lurette, Kyle Petten, Dawson Stairs and Drew Toner. Assists went to Perry, Jared Janke, Maxime Charest, and Brendan Bornstein plus Francis Thibeault and Pascal Valcourt with a pair each. The Tigers tough defence and tenacious checking allowed the Blizzard only eighteen shots on net all of which were turned aside by Tristan Gray in the win. The three game stars went to the Tigers with Gray getting third, Sam Dow, second and Perry, first game star.

The Tigers now will move on to tackle Summerside in a best of seven series for the Eastlink North Division bragging rights and the opportunity to play the South Division winner for the first ever Canadian Tire Cup.
