The wait is nearly over for those ardent Tiger fans who have been anticipating the start of the 2019-2020 MHL hockey season. That the Tigers training camp is officially underway is an indication that the regular season is just around the corner. On Saturday, August 31 the registration and orientation gathering was attended by thirty-two players who later that evening got a chance to demonstrate their skills during an on-ice session. On Sunday, Sept. 1st a number of Tiger hopefuls headed to Miramichi for an exhibition match at 2:00 pm. You can check the scoreboard above for results. Training camp will continue through next week with on-ice sessions each day starting Tuesday leading up to a second exhibition game vs the Timberwolves on Sunday, Sept. 8th in Miramichi. Campbellton will wrap up the exhibition season in Edmundston with a game versus the Blizzard on Tuesday, Sept. 12th.
