October 5th, the date of the Tigers’ home opener, seems like a long wait for their fans. During September, Campbellton will play five road games including stops in Yarmouth, Bridgewater, Miramichi, Edmundston and Amherst. Tigers Head Coach and GM, Greg Leland agrees that this is a tough way to start the season but there is a plus side to the situation. With the new schedule format, the Tigers play in South Division teams’ rinks only once this season and this month includes three of those matches. According to Leland it is nice to get those trips to Nova Scotia before the snow flies.
