Tigers Split Weekend Games

The Tigers headed out of the province on the weekend to continue their stretch of five road games before their home opener on October 11th. With a win in Edmundston in their season’s first game, the Tigers were looking to add to their early points total.

Antoine Gauthier and Pascal Valcourt each netted their first of the season for Campbellton while Charles-William Gagné, Maxime Charest, Kyle Petten and Coleton Perry picked up assists.

The next night, the Tigers finished their weekend road trip to Nova Scotia in fine fashion in Yarmouth with a 5-1 win. Scoring for the Tigers were Charles-William Gagné (1st Game Star), Joey Frenette, Kyle Petten, Riley Bezeau (2nd Game Star) and Zack Bennett. Assists were earned by Bennett, William Basque, Pascal Valcourt, Josh Crooks plus two each by Bezeau and Gagné. Tristan Gray made thirty-nine saves for the win. For Frenette, Bennett and Petten, these were their first goals of the young season.
