It has been a long wait for Tiger fans who are eager to see their team hit the ice at the Memorial Civic Center. However, that wait will be over tomorrow, Friday, October 11th at 7:00 PM when the Tigers line up to face the visiting Fredericton Red Wings. The evening promises to be an entertaining one with lots of action all over the Civic Center. The Tigers Booster Club are sponsoring a colouring contest for kids plus are offering free face painting for all young fans. Also, there will be the return of the popular Chuck-A-Puck activity, now sponsored by Dixie Lee Family Restaurant, with all fans encouraged to challenge last season’s champion, Jonathan Lemaitre. As well, Smoke On The Water are sponsoring the Shoot For Loot activity which gives a lucky participant the chance to win $3000. In the Upper Lounge, Gerry Duguay will be belting out the tunes and all brewed beverages during the Home Opener will be only $3.50. The first one thousand fans will receive a Tiger Cheering Towel to help them  welcome the Tigers during the player introductions and to cheer them on during the hockey action. Tiger merchandise, including old favourites and recently added items will be available at the brand new Tiger Boutique located beside the west-side concession stand. Be sure to check it out, pick up an item or two and say hi to the energetic members of the Booster Club.
